“I don’t want to see Klopp again,” he said

Public opinion about Jürgen Klopp is going to the extreme. Even Kevin Grosskreutz, who is classified as a passionate writer, did not hide his discomfort.

“Groskreutz expressed his disappointment with Klopp and said, ‘I don’t want to see him in Dortmund’s spectators’ again,” Germany’s ‘Sky Sports’ reported on the 12th (Korea Standard Time).

Klopp and Grosskreutz established the relationship during his time at Borussia Dortmund. In 2009, Klopp called Grosskreutz back to Dortmund after leaving Dortmund without fully showing his talents. Grosskreutz played an important role in reviving Dortmund by winning two consecutive league titles after struggling to fully display his skills under Klopp.

Coach Klopp put a lot of trust in Grosskreutz. He transformed himself into a right winger who turned him into a right-back and turned him into an excellent player enough to be named one of the top 11 players in the league. Grosskreutz was also able to play virtually any position due to his good soccer intelligence and multiplayer nature. Even before using James Milner in all positions at Liverpool, Coach Klopp had a strong tendency to appoint multiplayer like Grosskreutz.

Klopp was criticized for his high status as a master in Germany who saved Mainz and Dortmund, but he was recently appointed as a director under the Red Bull Group that runs RB Leipzig. Aside from the fact that he announced that he would not take a break from coaching for a year, 꽁머니 eyes in Germany were the main reason. Leipzig was founded in 2009 by acquiring Marcranstadt in the fifth division of Germany, which was a Bundesliga tradition at the time and was criticized for circumventing the so-called “50+1 policy” that prevented certain companies from controlling the club.

Leipzig is not criticized simply for its “50+1” policy. Like Bayer, a pharmaceutical company with Bayer Leverkusen, and Volkswagen, which owns Wolfsburg, there are corporate teams in Germany. However, the aforementioned companies are contributing to vitalizing the local economy by forming close relationships with local residents. On the other hand, the Red Bull Group, which owns Leipzig, took over the club simply for efficiency reasons rather than regional relationships, and came all the way to the Bundesliga in an instant, which is why German soccer fans are giving unfavorable views.

Given this background, we can understand why Coach Klopp had to suffer numerous criticisms when he was appointed as Leipzig director. Coach Klopp is a leader who emphasized the power of fans in football more than anyone else while leading Mainz and Dortmund. In Germany, in particular, soccer fans cannot think of themselves separately from workers, and Coach Klopp has also openly revealed his worker-friendly tendency. Such a person had a relationship with Leipzig, a Bundesliga mutant, and chose it on his own and received an annual salary of 12 million euros (about 17.7 billion won). The betrayal of German soccer fans is indescribable.

Grosskreutz also expressed his disappointment with Klopp. “It still doesn’t feel real. I hoped it would be fake news. It was shocking and sad,” he said. “I hope I don’t see him in the Dortmund stands anymore. If I meet him in person, I will tell him that’s terrible.” Of course, he mentioned that he is always my friend at the end, but it was clear that he does not like Klopp’s entry into the Red Bull group despite their years of friendship.
